Handled Now is hiring Class A CDL local drivers for mail runs in Eagan, Minnesota. Run home daily, multi-stop routes delivering mail within a 150 to 200 mile radius. This is a startup operation running 24/7, so schedules and routes may vary while things ramp up. We have 3 to 4 openings available now.
Job Details
● Pay: $31.34 per hour for all hours worked, straight time only, plus $6.16 per hour in health & welfare (H&W) benefits paid on the first 40 hours. Drivers who come in on standby are paid for 5 hours
● Schedule: Start times vary. Since this is a startup, you may not be on a set route right away, it’s all hands on deck at first, but times worked daily will settle into a consistent pattern. The operation runs 24/7 and days worked will vary.
● Route: Home daily, within a 150 to 200 mile radius
● Tractor: Day cab (some manual transmission)
● Trailer: 53′ dry van
● Freight: Mail, light touch. May include pushing mail carts, some palletized freight, and some drop & hook
● License requirement: Preferably no automatic transmission restriction on your CDL, since some tractors are manual
