HandledNow is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. It is the policy of HandledNow to offer all employees and applicants for employment equal opportunity without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, disability, marital status, veteran status or any other protected status. This policy covers all aspects of the employment relationship. Employment decisions, subject to the legitimate business requirements of HandledNow, are based solely on the individual’s qualifications, merit and performance. Harassment

Any form of harassment, including sexual harassment, or harassment based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, disability, marital status, membership or application in the armed forces, or any other group protected by state or local law is strictly prohibited and will not be condoned. Strict and immediate discipline, up to and including termination, will be enforced. Applicant should not participate in suck conduct and further agrees to immediately report any such conduct to HandledNow.

Employment

Employment through HandledNow is contingent upon availability of jobs; Applicant’s continued ability to perform the essential functions of the positions for which qualified, with or without reasonable accommodation; the results of Applicant’s employment verifications and Applicant’s acceptance and compliance with HandledNow policies.

Reference and Consumer Report Authorization

Applicant authorizes HandledNow, and any person or organizations acting under the instructions of HandledNow, to make a confidential background check and investigate Applicant’s previous employment history, education, and otherwise to investigate fully Applicant’s suitability for employment, including contacting a credit bureau or agency, or other consumer reporting agency when necessary. Applicant authorizes and requests that current and all former employers and any person(s) Applicant hereby releases them and HandledNow from all liability and responsibility arising from any information provided. Applicant understands that certain reports that HandledNow receives may be “consumer reports” or “investigative consumer reports” and that Applicant may be entitled under federal law to make a written request to receive disclosure of same. Applicant further understands that the results of any such investigation may be disclosed to HandledNow personnel involved in the employment decision and hereby consents to such disclosure. Applicant releases HandledNow and its employees and agents from any liability and responsibility arising from same.

Release of Criminal Records

Applicant hereby authorizes HandledNow to examine any and all criminal records, which may be on file in any county of any state. In doing so, Applicant understands that he/she is waiving all rights to confidentiality concerning his/her criminal history and any convictions.

Substance Abuse Screening Consent

The policy of HandledNow is to maintain a drug and alcohol-free work environment that is safe and productive for employees and others having business with HandledNow. To meet these objectives, Applicant agrees to comply with HandledNow’s drug and alcohol free workplace policy as a condition of employment, and understands that any offer of employment with HandledNow is contingent upon passing any required physical examinations. Applicant further agrees to submit to a substance abuse screening either pre-employment (but after a conditional job offer), for cause, random, post-accident (which occurs while performing services for HandledNow) or upon return to duty. Applicant further understands that the purpose of this analysis is to determine or rule out the presence of alcohol, non-prescribed drugs or prohibited controlled substances. Applicant hereby consents to this request for and agrees to participate in the testing program. Applicant understands that a positive test or refusal to submit to such screening will be cause for refusal of employment, or, if employed, termination of employment.

Consent to Release Information

Applicant understands that to be assigned or considered for employment by one or more clients of HandledNow, may require that HandledNow release employment related documents to those clients. By Applicant’s signature below, Applicant authorizes HandledNow to release the results of employment verifications, drug screens, pre-employment testing, criminal background checks, credit checks, motor vehicle record checks, and/or DOT medical certification or any other employment related documents to the client(s) to whom Applicant may be assigned or by whom Applicant may be considered for employment. By applicant’s signature below, Applicant further releases HandledNow from any responsibility and liability, which may result from the release of this information.

Expectations

HandledNow makes no promises, covenants, or undertakings other than those expressly set forth herein and in manuals. These agreements supersede all prior agreements and understandings between the Applicant and HandledNow with respect to the subject matter contained therein. These agreements may be amended with respect to the Applicant only by a written instrument duly executed by the Applicant and HandledNow. However, HandledNow reserves the right to change these policies at any time with or without notice in conjunction with HandledNow’s policy changes.

Employment-at-Will Acknowledgement

In consideration of employment, Applicant agrees to comply with the policies, rules, regulations, and procedures of HandledNow. Applicant further understands that there is no Contract of Employment for a specific duration with HandledNow. An Employment-at-Will relationship exists between HandledNow and the Applicant with both parties having the right to terminate the employments relationship at any time, for any reason, with or without notice or cause.

Attestation to Truth and Honesty

This certifies that this application was completed by me, and that all entries on it and information provided in it are true, correct and complete to the best of my knowledge. Falsifying any portion of this application, providing inaccurate information and/or withholding relevant information will be cause for refusal of employment, or if employed, termination of employment. I hereby verify that I have read and fully understand the above statements regarding HandledNow’s policies and procedures and agree to same. I agree to abide by these policies as a condition of my employment with HandledNow.
